Introducing :: Warehouse Eyes

Formed in Minneapolis early last year, this five-piece dreampop outfit may only have debuted one track online so far, but what a track.

'Tokyo' is the lead cut off their debut EP 'Carvings', and if an example of their sound as a whole,  a full-length should be something worth keeping an eye out for when it arrives.

Built around their shared love of analogue sounds and dreamy melodies, 'Tokyo' plays with the deliciously evocative vocals of Jennie Lahlum to draw you in and weave around layers of guitars and synths in a manner not unlike that of The xx.

They play a release show this Friday (May 23) at the Turf Club, St Paul, Minnesota.

Warehouse Eyes are: Jennie Lahlum - vocals, synthesizers; Christopher Williams - vocals, keys, synthesizers; Jay McGlone - drums, Kevin Scott - bass; Colin Sheffield - guitar.
